MFRC522 AVR.
A low-level C library for an MFRC522 contactless reader connected to an ATmega328P over SPI. Currently at the documentation and planning stage.
Current state
The MFRC522 AVR library is in development. The public repository currently contains technical documentation and design notes and is AI Generated; no driver implementation is included yet.
The notes cover the SPI interface, MFRC522 registers, ATmega328P peripherals, the ISO/IEC 14443 A protocol flow, and electrical interface considerations such as logic-level compatibility.
Planned work
The goal is a register-level C library using the ATmega328P’s hardware SPI peripheral. An operational RFID reader, card-reading implementation, and completed API are not yet available.
